Gabriele D'Annunzio turns 160 years old. The Vittoriale degli Italiani, the sumptuous residence in Gardone Riviera where Gabriele D'Annunzio lived from 1921 until his death, which occurred on March 1, 1938, will be the scene of birthday celebrations for the Vate, who was born in Pescara, Italy, on March 12, 1863.

Ahead of the 160th anniversary of D'Annunzio's birth, in conjunction with the spring festival on March 11, a 3D virtual tour of the spaces of the Vittoriale's early 20th-century complex will be inaugurated, offering the possibility of navigating through the rooms of the house museum and gardens, thanks to the innovative app and special augmented reality glasses.

As early as 2022, an initial technical real estate survey was carried out using innovative 3D reconstruction technology. The result of this study and data collection activity made it possible to create a complete tour of the Vittoriale in high-definition virtual reality.

A 360-degree view of every room and every space of the Vittoriale's wonderful garden, available online for everyone, worldwide, a new contribution to the knowledge and preservation of the Vittoriale Museum.
