A corollary event to the Brooklyn Book Festival, "Beyond Ellis Island" is a round table discussion of the past, present, and future of Italian American literature; it will include readings and discussion. Panelists include: Mark Ciabattari, Louisa Ermelino, Fred Gardaphe, Maria Lisella, Mark Rotella and Robert Viscusi. Anthony Julian Tamburri will moderate the event. Sponsored by The John D.
