Submissions are now being accepted for the 2018 Ceramics of Italy Tile Competition. Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, the annual awards program organized by Confindustria Ceramica and the Italian Trade Agency honors the exceptional work of North American architects and designers who feature Italian ceramic and porcelain tile in their residential, commercial and institutional projects.
In a new initiative this year, Ceramics of Italy is also looking for imaginative concepts from students in addition to built projects. To qualify for entry, built projects in the residential, institutional and commercial categories must be designed by North America-based architects and designers, built or renovated between January 2013 and January 2017, and feature a significant amount of Italian ceramic/porcelain tile.
