March 24, Saturday –60th Annual Swallow’s Day Parade – Mark your calendar to be a part of the Italian entry. There is no better way to show your Italian pride than by marching along a parade route lined with over 30,000 spectators, filmed on TV and broadcast live on several radio stations. Carry an Italian regional flag, dress in Italian colors or dress for Carnivale.
For more information about the parade/route/parking visit: http://swallowsparade.
Trader Joe’s of San Juan Capistrano will be on hand sampling their Trader Giotto’s cheese, salami, olive oil and bread. And for an Italian treat, Mustache Mike’s will be serving Italian ice! We will have a no host bar and Jim Bianchi will keep us on our feet playing traditional Italian music.
Food and drink from Cucina Caprese & Mustache Mike's will be sold individually. All are welcome whether you walk in the parade or just come for the party. Children participating will have free access to Zoomars Petting Zoo (http://zoomars.com). A more detailed email about the parade, parking and party will be sent out a week prior to the event.
