A DVD Presentation by Lou Barella
You are cordially invited to attend a dvd based presentation by Lou Barella titled, "A Trip to Operatic Italy" at the Italian American Museum on Thursday, October 2nd.

During the summer of 2009, Lou made a long awaited trip to Italy. While there he went to the places important in the lives of Giuseppe Verdi (Busseto, Le Roncole, Sant'Agata and Milano) and Giacomo Puccini (Torre del Lago, Lucca and Viareggio), as well as the Teatri dell'Aperto in Verona, at Torre del Lago and at the Baths of Caracalla.

This presentation is a pictorial souvenir of that trip accompanied by the operatic music of these two great composers. It is not just a typical "travelog" but a marriage of pictures and appropriate music for each beautiful location. Sharing this experience should bring back wonderful memories for those who already have been to these places and a yearning to visit them for all those who desire to travel there.........Buon viaggio a tutti!
