One of Italy’s most beloved pizza makers, Gino Sorbillo, is bringing his fan favorite pies to South Beach starting Wednesday, October 30, with the debut of Sorbillo Pizza (100 Collins Avenue). Frequently touted as one of the most famous pizzaiolos in Italy, he has set on a worldwide expansion of sorts in the past few years. With eight eateries in Italy, alongside two in New York City, a newly-opened location in Tokyo, he has chosen Miami as the next city on quest his for a global pizza takeover.
The South Beach location’s menu will be executed just as it is done at the Milan outpost offering only 300 pizzas available each day served on a first come, first serve basis. Classic Neapolitan pies will fill out the menu topped with ingredients like basil pesto, ricotta, pork sausage, smoked mozzarella, sliced black truffle, and more.
