The front-page article on the Agnoli family and their celebration of St. Mary's Feast brought back wonderful memories of my own and I'm sure resonated with many others in Rhode Island, a state with the highest percentage of Italian-Americans in the country.

As a third generation Italian-American who grew up in Barrington, I would note that Holy Angels Church, which celebrates 100 years this year, continues to have its Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Mother on Aug. 15.
