Aging commish, lodge veep to receive Positive Image Awards

The Columbia County Sons and Daughters of Italy will present the "Positive Image Award" to two local Italian-Americans, Doris Laccese Moore and Thomas Fisher. The event will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Jan. 11 at the Columbia County Sons and Daughters of Italy Lodge on Bridge Street in Greenport.
The two long-time Hudson residents will be recognized for their societal contributions, and for projecting a positive image of all Italian Americans.
