Alessi will relocate its North American corporate offices and showroom to the 8th floor of the Forty One Madison in New York. Alessi will officially participate in its first New York Tabletop Market at Forty One Madison in the spring; however the Italian company known for its clever designs will make a soft debut at the Fall Tabletop Market, which is October 17-20. Attendees can view the brand’s display in Forty One Madison’s new lobby vitrines and preview the work-in-progress showroom and sneak peek new collections on the eighth floor.
“We chose Forty One Madison because of its audience that is a perfect mix of department stores, art de la table stores, interior designers, hotels and restaurants, plus its proximity to other great brands,” said Paolo Cravedi, managing director, Alessi North America. The new space provides an important opportunity for increasing awareness “to a new breed of retailers” and allows Alessi to work directly with designers for both residential and commercial projects, the company said.
