An Italian festival drew thousands to Enfield, Connecticut on Saturday. For three days, an annual Italian festival hosted by the Catholic American Cultural organization offers all sorts of family fun and entertainment, and, of course, lots of homemade Italian food.
For 91 straight years, the Our Lady of Mount Carmel society has thrown an Italian festival in Enfield, CT. Year after year, thousands of people have come out to enjoy traditional Italian food, as well as take advantage of the overall atmosphere. Frank Faloutico told 22News he and his wife came all the way from Woodstock, NY to enjoy the festivities: "Anywhere you go that's full of Italian people, it's full of friendly faces that welcome you, great food and great smells in the air."
