The Archdiocese of New York is selling a Little Italy church for $7.3 million, new court documents reveal. The archdiocese filed paperwork in Manhattan Supreme Court on Monday showing its agreement with the Urban Standard development company to sell the Church of the Most Holy Crucifix, at 378 Broome St. between Mott and Mulberry Sts. A judge must still approve the deal.
Papers also indicate the church has been appraised at $6.2 million — so it’s going for $1 million more than its market value.
