As customers increasingly prize craftsmanship, “Made in Italy” becomes more than a tag for luxury brands

"Real luxury is Italian made": this is the message from the Luxury Summit, a convention organized for a seventh straight year by Il Sole 24 Ore at its Milan headquarters. 

Over a thousand people attended speeches from the CEOs of some of the most important Italian fashion brands, who converged on issues such as the value of Made in Italy, small companies' craftmanship, and the evolution of the concept of luxury.
