Oconomowoc will soon be home to a new authentic Italian restaurant on the first floor of the Eagles Landing condominium building at 128 W. Wisconsin Ave. Lago Su Bella owner Mike Bertrand said the restaurant will be authentically Italian and not the typical spaghetti and meatballs- and lasagna-type restaurant.
“We’re going to have real deal Italian,” Bertrand said. “Tuscan, Mediterranean style Italian with lots of seafood, lighter fare, bright sauces, small plates and homemade pasta.” Bertrand said he wants to break down the menu regionally to offer customers what they would be eating in different areas of the European nation.
