Award-winning author Maria Giura will lead a series of virtual writing workshops this fall at Casa Belvedere, focusing on memories of nature and the outdoors. The workshops, which began at the Italian cultural center in December 2020, have evolved from their initial Italian-American focus to welcome writers of all backgrounds.
Topics can include a variety of sensory subjects — food included. The fall series includes two generative workshops on Sept. 20 and Oct. 18, where participants will create new material, followed by a revision workshop on Nov. 22. All sessions run from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday mornings.
