With an eye toward bringing a true Italian festival back to Bayonne, a group of individuals has come together to establish the Feast of San Vito. The event will be held on Saturday, June 22, beginning at 11:00 AM. Bayonne’s Feast of San Vito will take place at Trinity Parish at the corner of 5th Street and Broadway.
Councilman Neil Carroll, who credited the members of the Bayoone Heritage Association, and specifically Cindy Guarini, Cindi Sisk-Galvin, and Alycin Perry, for their work in organizing the celebration, said the festival would be similar to those that take place in Hoboken and Jersey City.
