Hidden away in Italy's stunning Liguria region visitors to Lerici are treated to captivating sea views, pristine beaches, and vibrant architecture. Lerici is located 100 kilometres south of Genoa. However, compared to neighbouring destinations, its location, particularly the lack of a train station, has provided some protection against overtourism.
Known as the capital of the "Gulf of Poets," Lerici plays host to a variety of cultural and artistic events. These include the Lerici Music Festival, the Premio Lerici Pea Golfo dei Poeti literary competition, and regular art exhibitions held at its medieval castle.
