Kendra Van Cleave is a librarian by day. On weekends she sheds that image to play one of two characters, an 18th century French tart or a 16th century Italian courtesan as a member of the Bella Donna Historical Performers, who are returning to Carnevale Fantastico this weekend.
She and her fellow Bella Donna members will perform a comedy at the second annual Italian Renaissance event. The story, written by Van Cleave and fellow Bella Donna members, centers on a young woman who must decide between marriage and being a courtesan.
