New Providence Diversity Committee is holding a Columbus Day celebration to honor Italian culture this Sunday, Oct. 9. This is the first year the event is being held, with help from the Italian language class. The event will celebrate Italian culture and food. It's potluck, so everyone is encouraged to make and bring their favorite Italian dish to share.

The celebration will be held at 15 E 4th St, between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM. For more information, visit the event page on Facebook.
