Bisnonna Bakeshop, an Italian bakery with pastries made from scratch, held its grand opening Saturday at Tysons Corner Center. Bisnonna Bakeshop, named for the Italian word for great-grandmother, was the grand prize winner of the Dreamstart Competition at Tysons Corner Center.
The bakery, runner up Garcon Melanine and second place runner up The PopCorn Bag DC won reduced rent inside Tysons Corner Center and other prizes to provide an incubator space for emerging brands. While 20 businesses entered the competition, nine were invited to present their products "Shark Tank style" to a panel of judges.
