
Louis Colbert, Chair of the American Society on Aging's (ASA) Nominating Task Force is pleased to announce that Robert (Bob) Blancato, President of Matz, Blancato and Associates, an influential public policy and strategy consulting firm in Washington, DC, will serve as the next ASA Board Chair.
His term begins March 23 during ASA's Aging in America Conference in Washington, DC. He will succeed Lynn Friss Feinberg, whose term as Chair concludes on March 22. Bob is a nationally recognized leader who has served on the boards of numerous aging organizations. He continues to serve as the National Coordinator of the Elder Justice Coalition, which was instrumental in helping pass the 2010 Elder Justice Act.
