Brioni is getting bigger in its biggest market. The Italian suit maker opened a store at the South Coast Plaza shopping center in June, according to WWD and chief executive officer Francesco Pesci reemphasized that the brand's growth plan includes more retail locations in the U.S., sales diversification — with non-tailored menswear, leather goods and footwear gaining ground.
Francesco Pesci says that there is unexploited potential in the United States market and traditionally, the retail presence has always been concentrated on the East Coast and the West Coast, but there are other cities to go to, and he's very confident in the potential of this market because he thinks that the United States is bound to remain Brioni's most important market.
