The brothers that brought you Renato's Pizza Masters on Central Avenue in the Heights are now using their expertise to open an Italian-style deli on the same block. Bocelli's Italian Deli opened late last month and a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 274 Central Ave. between Sherman Place and Manhattan Avenue followed.
Mark and Lorenzo De Marchi have teamed up with Joseph Doyle, from Doyle's Consulting, in this latest venture. "Bocelli's brings a distinct neighborhood experience to the Jersey City Heights," Doyle said in a statement. "The deli will have homecooked meals, fresh mozzarella, and many unique products imported exclusively from Italy for this location."
