A celebration of all things Italian comes to downtown Lynchburg on Friday, Sept. 20. The celebrations will be at Riverviews Artspace Gallery, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event is open to the public without charge.
Officials say there will be Italian wines (cash bar) and light cuisine, pasta demonstration and tasting, as well as Italian oil and vinegar tasting. A mock classroom will feature Italian trivia and games, and a continuous overhead video will reflect 19th and 20th-century Italian history and culture.
