The Verona Public Library will hold the “Festa Dei Bambini,” a children’s Italian festival, this Saturday, October 2, from 10 a.m. to noon. The even is meant for children in preschool through elementary school, and their families.
There will be arts and crafts, including making Venetian masks, tambourines, a mosaic Italian Flag, and mural painting. Join in for a bocce ball demonstration and games, and don’t miss special presentations of the Tarantella dance, percussion, a mini Italian language class, and an introduction to opera. Kids are also invited to dress up for a photo.
