Attorney Richard A. DiLiberto Jr., a Hazleton native, has been selected by the Delaware State Bar Association to receive the Daniel L. Herrmann Professional Conduct Award. Named in honor of the late chief justice of the Delaware Supreme Court, the award goes to a member of the Delaware Bar who "has demonstrated those qualities of courtesy and civility which, together with high ability and distinguished service, exemplifies the Delaware lawyer."
DiLiberto is a partner in the personal injury section of the Delaware law firm Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor. He was admitted to the Delaware Bar in 1986, served a judicial clerkship in Delaware Superior Court, and has practiced at Young Conaway since 1987. In addition to his private practice, he served in the Delaware State House of Representatives from 1992 to 2002.
