The Clark chapter of UNICO, an active Italian-American service organization, held its annual kick-off dinner and reorganization meeting on Jan. 25. New members are sworn-in at this annual ceremony.  Upcoming events and the organization's annual calendar was set. The group reviewed the previous year's Italian-American Feast, its four-day carnival held each year over Columbus Day weekend, and began planning for the 2017 event.

The group welcomed guest speaker Dr. Frank DeFrank, who serves as UNICO National 2^nd vice-president.  DeFrank spoke briefly on the importance of service organizations such as UNICO, one of only a handful of these types left.
