As the state of Ohio continues its fight against the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, event organizers continue to make adjustments. On Saturday, Italian Sons and Daughters of America announced the cancelation of the annual Cleveland Columbus Day parade due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns.
The event, bringing together " a diverse group of 20,000 people line Murray Hill and Mayfield roads each year in Cleveland’s Little Italy corridor to support Italian American traditions and culture," dates back to 1920. The parade will resume in 2021.
