The Columbian Lawyers Association of Brooklyn held its 50th annual dinner dance and installation ceremony at El Caribe in Mill Basin on Friday. More than 200 people, including many judges, lawyers, court staff and their families packed the ballroom of El Caribe as the association congratulated outgoing President Linda LoCascio and installed Joseph Rosato as president, in addition to its other officers and directors.
“From the beginning, Linda put her imprint on the year that we were going to have,” said Steven Bamundo, chairman of the executive committee of the Columbian Lawyers. “She tirelessly carried out her duties — running the monthly meetings, obtaining sponsors, organizing speakers and representing our organization at various events all with great appreciation of what the Columbian Lawyers Association of Brooklyn stands for and tries to accomplish.”
