The 2013 Columbus Day 5K will be held at 8:30 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 13, at Lurker Park.
Awards will be given to overall male and female winners, and to first, second and third place winners in age categories. The 5K Run/Walk is in conjunction with the annual Morris County Columbus Day Parade sponsored by the East Hanover Italian American Club.

The Italian American Club Scholarship Program provides scholarships to students preparing for college.
The entry fee is: $25 for the run with t-shirts before Friday, Sept. 27, $30 for the run after that date. T-shirts are available while supply lasts day of registration. Make checks payable to EHIAC, and mail to 9 Behrens Dr. Whippany, N.J. 07981 or online @ runsignup.com
