Conversation with: Armand Regalbuti

At 84, Armand Regalbuti, the former principal of Kosciusko Junior High School in Enfield, remains on the go. He golfs, remains friends with many of his former students, and, being the son of Italian immigrants, has traveled to Italy some 55 times.


Recently, he raised $7,500 for the victims of the Aug. 24 earthquake victims in Amatrice, Italy, and went there in late October to deliver the funds. While he was in the region, he felt the rumblings from a second major earthquake on Oct. 30. Regalbuti's motto is, "Anyone should be afraid to die if they don't do a service for humanity."
