Luca and Stefano De Carolis left Italy in 2014 for America with 10 years of experience working at a bike shop in Rome and a talent for design and building, respectively. With their combined experience and enthusiasm for biking, these Italian brothers decided to open a bike shop here in the area.
“We planned to open in Tewksbury, but the rent was too high at that time,” Luca De Carolis says. Instead, they found a spot in Lawrence to start their bike business in March of 2015. “With my cousins, we found a place here that was cheaper, and it was a good place, because around here nobody has a bike shop.”
