State Rep. Anthony DeLuca is encouraging constituents to attend a free women's self-defense seminar that he is hosting at the Bloom Township Center at 6 p.m. on March 30 at 425 S. Halsted St. in Chicago Heights. Attendees will learn basic self-defense tips and safety precautions from martial arts instructor Daniel Kocsis.
"This workshop will teach participants basic self-defense and important safety measures," DeLuca says. "Knowing and using these precautions will help residents avoid dangerous situations and protect themselves if necessary. I encourage anyone interested in learning more to stop by."
