
Anthony D. Bruno II, M.D. has been chosen the Italian-American Association's Person of the Year. He will be honored at the association's annual Columbus Day banquet set for at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11 at the Genetti Hotel and Convention Center in Wilkes-Barre.
A native of Pittston, Bruno is the son of Dr. Anthony Bruno, West Pittston; and Pauline Bruno, Pinehurst, North Carolina. He is the grandson of the late Dr. Joseph and Josephine (DiGeso) Bruno, Sr. and the late Mr. Samuel and Jennie (DeVita) Aquilina.
