The Italian wave isn't over yet. Italian restaurants are still coming strong in Austin with today's announcement of two new spots as part of The Arnold complex on East 6th, Gatto Nero and Enoteca Gattino. The project is being developed by New Waterloo and development company Transwestern.
At 1617 East 6th Street, it is across the way from Qui. As the upscale restaurant, Gatto Nero, found on the East 6th Street corner of the building, will have pasta, pizza, and more. The space will feature Neapolitan wood-burning ovens, bar, lounge, wine cellar with Italian labels, and a private dining room.
