On May 19, the Kiwanis Club of East Boston honored three long-time club members for their years of dedication and service to the community of East Boston and the children of the world.
The honorees — Judge Joseph V. Ferrino Sr. (ret.) of Winthrop, Dennis Lombardo of Randolph and John Nucci of East Boston — were presented with Legion of Honors awards by the East Boston Kiwanis, a club founded in 1947 with the mission "to improving the world, one child and one community at a time."
