A popular summer festival is coming back to the Valley this weekend.  The 33rd Annual Greater Youngstown Italian Festival starts Friday, August 3 through Sunday, August 5 in Central Square downtown. A press release detailed there will be road closures before and during the event.

Phelps Street to Walnut Street, as well as Commerce Street to Boardman Street, will be closed from Wednesday, August 1 at 3 am through Monday, August 6th at 8 am. In addition, a parking ban will be in effect from Thursday, August 2 until the last day of the event.  No parking is allowed on Commerce Street from Phelps Street to Champion Street and towing will be strictly enforced.
