Ferrari certainly has the luxury, capacity, and budget to pretty much do whatever it wants to when it comes to developing its new sports cars and SUVs. The brand has enjoyed a string of successful model launches, including its first lifted four-door four-seater, the Purosangue, and now it approaches a new frontier: its first all-electric vehicle. Can the Italian automaker pull it off again? We'll know soon enough, as a name has now been assigned to the upcoming EV.
Ferrari recently released details of its annual shareholders meeting, where the brand's first EV was brought up and repeatedly referred to as the "Ferrari Elettrica" by executives. Details beyond that name so far have been scarce, but we've got a few more clues now from this year's meeting, as the model will be "years in the making" by the time it's revealed later this year.
