
The Italian shipbuilder, Fincantieri delivered the largest cruise ship ever built in Italy, the “MSC Seascape” to MSC Cruises. The ship was handed over in a ceremony held in the shipbuilder’s Monfalcone. The naming ceremony of the ship is scheduled to take place on December 7th in New York.
The ship is the fourth to be built by Fincantieri for MSC as a part of the 10-ship agreement signed between them. The price tag for the 10 vessels is around 7 billion Euros. The construction of this particular ship is estimated to have cost around 1 billion Euros.
