MAGNOLIA Tozzi’s Restaurant was established in 1914, but I didn’t get there until last week. Magnolia is off the beaten path for sure, a village of 977 residents located southeast of Canton on the Stark-Carroll county line. But for this kind of dining experience, the drive definitely is worth it.
Located at 144 N. Main St., Tozzi’s has a welcoming entrance with a green awning that you can’t miss. Inside, the restaurant has subdued lighting, relaxing jazzy music at a subdued volume and lots of upholstered booths. There’s a high ceiling of pressed tin, and vintage Tozzi-family photos decorating the walls and varnished into the table tops. Tozzi’s feels cozy, a place to linger and enjoy.
