It's hard to imagine. Twenty experts from the new frontiers of technology will team up at the prime minister's office at Palazzo Chigi to modernize Italy's bureaucratic public administration.

It will be a sort of anthropological mutation. Instead of briefcase-carrying politicians, the palatial building's offices will be inhabited for the first time by Big Data specialists or experts on machine learning, open source, cybersecurity, product design and user experience, mobile application development, and software architecture.
