Four local women will be honored by the Italian American Community Center this month for their exemplary work in business and the community. The 18th annual Women of the Year dinner will be held on Friday, May 22, in the IACC grand ballroom, at 150 Frank DiMino Way in Gates.

Former radio personality Dee Alexander will host the dinner for the 10th consecutive year. The awards recognize the accomplishments of Rochester-area women of Italian descent. These women represent a cross section of the community, with accomplishments in business, education, civic affairs/government.
