The Eastchester Italian-American Citizen's Club (E.I.A.C.C.) is a place is designed for Italian and Italian Americans to socialize, honor their heritage and promote/preserve the Italian culture. The club, which consists mostly retirees, organizes an array of trips and events for its members, like a trip to Mohegan Sun Casino, Halloween parties and bingo night, along with scholarship opportunities for students in the community.
The E.I.A.C.C. was founded in 1933 by a group of Italian and Italian Americans who moved to the Eastchester area from Italy. After many years at work and raising a family, these group of individuals needed a place to gather with their family and friends to socialize and discuss their hometown memories - which is how the club began.
