One of the area's biggest festivals is up and running and already preparing for its busiest days. The concerts start this weekend at HerrinFesta Italiana in Herrin, Illinois. You can now hear all the music from their newest tent: the Festa Giardino, or Festival Garden.
Organizers say even with 40,000 expected to turn out, they know they have a little something for everyone this weekend. "Well, it's kind of a combination of a music festival, a traditional carnival and also a lot of Italian things thrown in to keep the flavor, like, for instance, we have a grape stomp contest," said Joey Helleny, festival vice president.
