Gillotti named county’s Veteran of the Year

The men and women, clad in caps and suits adorned with medals, who filled the Italian American Veterans Home on Saturday evening may not all have known each other well, but they were all family, in a way.
"We care about each other.
We take care of one another," guest speaker Sgt. Maj. Bruce Cole told the room of veterans at the 69th annual Veteran of the Year banquet Saturday, likening the group gathered to honor the 2015 Lorain County Veteran of the Year to "brothers in arms."
