More than four years have passed since the Golden Nugget's transformation in Atlantic City and a slew of Landry's-owned restaurants, including Grotto, debuted here. And while the other Nugget restaurants — Chart House, Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse, Lillie's Asian Cuisine and Michael Patrick's Brasserie — all impressed both regular casinogoers and foodies, Grotto missed the mark.
That all changed two months ago when Grotto transformed itself from a pedestrian Italian eatery to a destination Italian restaurant that could rival other great Italian restaurants in the market.
