Those who knew Gennaro "Jerry" Malvone knew that he was a man who enjoyed to laugh. Jerry once owned a Cadillac Eldorado that had an automatic start button on the keys. One day, he was standing at the door of his original Jerry and Sal's Pizza location when he saw a friend walking by.
As his friend walked by his car, he hit the automatic start and his friend started to "freak" out, looking all around. Jerry would start and stop his car a few more times until his friend saw Jerry in tears laughing. That was one story a family friend shared with the Malvone family at his viewing on May 23.
