Native Petaluman Elsie Albertoni is a hardy soul, a daughter of Swiss and Italian extraction who is at home in today's world, yet has memories that span most of the 20th century.
She is a member of the Sons of Italy, having served as the local branch's secretary for many years and says they are, "The largest and oldest national organization for men and women of Italian heritage in the United States. Women and men are equally represented."
