Members of the Italian American Cultural Club came together to finalize plans for the upcoming Una Serata Italiana event. The fundraiser is scheduled to be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 2 at Froehlich’s Classic Corner, located at 501 Washington St. in Steubenville. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Translated to mean an Evening in Italy, those attending the event will have the opportunity to enjoy appetizers, entrees, desserts and spirits from four regions of Italy — Venice, Rome, Florence and Milan. Some of the evening’s activities will feature a children’s parade and performances by Italian tenor Marco Fiorante. A Venetian auction, silent auction and 50/50 drawing will add to the event’s entertainment.
