Lucio Fontana e Piero Manzoni due esponenti della cultura italiana nel mondo che affiancarono da vicino le sperimentazioni del Gruppo Zero nato in Germania.
Le loro opere le troviano infatti nella mostra che aprirà i battenti a New York per iniziativa del Gugghneim dal 10 ottobre 2014 al 7 gennaio 2015, dal titolo " ZERO: Countdown to Tomorrow, 1950s–60s" (ZERO: Conto alla rovescia per domani, 1950s-60s).
