Italian American Veterans Post holding festival Sept. 26

Festa Italiana at the Italian American Veterans Post 1, 4567 Oberlin Ave. in Lorain, will take place noon to 10 p.m., Sept. 26. There will be live entertainment throughout the day and at 2:30 p.m. Lu DeGenaro and Gino Minacci will be recognized.
Dinner will take place from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Menu includes Italian wedding soup, stuffed shells, lasagna, sausage sandwiches, and meatball subs; and Lorenzo's from Oberlin will sell pizzas. There also will be a 50/50 raffle, flat-screen TV Raffle and bake sale. The event is free and open to the public.
